Hiker's hut in a very romantic location above the Rhine plain with a fantastic view of the vineyards. Great ambience, fairytale appearance of an "enchanted" witch's cottage. Very sympathetic hosts.

People with exemptions are turned away in an unfriendly way! During our visit today, we were refused hospitality despite a medical certificate regarding the exemption from the MND mask. The Rietburg is a destination which we visit at regular intervals and then visit the Waldgaststätte-Rietania. For us today it was definitely the last visit to this restaurant.

We highly recommend the Flääschknepp, with very good horseradish

It is as ideal as it is idyllic for a break on the Palatinate Wine Trail. Nice hosts, quick service and my pea soup was delicious and generously portioned!

Super nice, super delicious, very hospitable and nice, very clean ... but 1 point deduction due to the price of a bottle of sweet sparkling wine (0.7l) 5.20 € and unfortunately only a slice of the delicious bread with the dish.

Small but fine. We stopped here on our hike. Orders are placed at the counter and the food is brought to the table. Good quality for a small price. We will be back.
